Karla "Raye" Brewster--
Born to Charles and JoAnn Brewster in Rural Indiana, Karla was raised with dogs, horses, cattle, cats and other livestock.
She acquired her first "paying" horse training client at the ripe old age of 11 yrs, and her first "paying" dog training client at the age of 14.
It is jokingly said, that the first words out of her mouth were not "Mama" or "Papa", but "HoHo"---for horse-horse...
She got her first dog when she was 6 months of age...seems the dog, a collie, was born on the same day as she was, and it struck a nerve with her father. He brought the dog home...Karla had it walking accross 2x4s and jumping through hoops by the time she was three. That dog, and the black cat were her constant companions....
Blackie, a black shetland pony came into her life when she was 3 or 4 yrs of age----from that time forward, horses would always be her passion.
Over the years, she would have many horses and dogs pass through her hands.
She currently owns 3 Rottweilers, 1 German Shepherd, 1 Standard Poodle and 13 puppies, and an Appaloosa horse named Dallas.
